Perseverance, snow and playlists

Published by stefano on

I know perseverance is one of my weaknesses. I start a lot of things with all good intentions and then I either shift my focus on something else or I just lose interest.

I was born when ADHD used to be confused with just being a spoiled little brat (at least in Italy) and yet, if I was diagnosed in my young age I would have probably ended up in that 11%

It is said though that ADHD is a good ally for creative people, so It wouldn’t be a bad deal after all.

However, there is still one thing I keep on doing after all these years: writing music.

I was talking about perseverance, right. I started this year (actually I bet it was last year) with a little project in mind: creating a playlist of new tracks each month. I managed to release one in January , February went poof (it’s also the shortest month of the year so cut me some slack) and then March arrived. Good news is, I’ve got the playlist!

We’ve got quite a bit of snow here in Ireland this month and I feel like I was inspired by that (and somehow forced to write since I was locked up in my house for days).

I took the picture appearing as the playlist’s background a few weeks ago, during a creepy early morning walk.
